Hooftrek

Hiking with pack ponies in the Welsh Mountains. Pack ponies are equipped with pack frames and panniers to carry camping equipment along the trails through the Radnor Hills and Cambrian Mountains. We arrange short and multi-day guided and self guided hikes across the country, from the border to the coast. Our pack ponies are happy to accompany family groups, school groups or individuals. Your trail can be either self guided (with full back-up), or accompanied by a guide.
Hooftrek offers full training in management of pack ponies, & use of maps and route descriptions.
