Magic of Life Butterfly House

The Magic of Life Butterfly House displays tropical plants and butterflies and is open to the public from Easter to the end of October. In the reception room there are giant beetles, mantids and other insects on show. Staff freely volunteer information about the plants and insects giving a personal edge to a visit. Outside there is a comprehensive collection of wildlife plants along with many rare and unusual exotics. The butterfly house is located in the stunning scenery of the Rheidol Valley in Mid Wales. It was set up by Neil Gale, a botanist who has visited many of the rain forest areas of the world
